One of Atlanta’s AwesoMamas, Sue Rodman (of Field Trips with Sue), has graciously offered her ebook for me to review and give away to one lucky adventurous family. Sue has, for many years, been scouring the Atlanta Metro area, as well as other travel destinations, for free and frugal family fun. So, it comes as no surprise that she has included some of the best kept secrets in free admission to a wide variety of museums, activities, festivals and events. The book, “100+ Free Things To Do in Atlanta,” is laid out in such a simple and reader-friendly way that it makes living this life of adventure a breeze. From the table of contents, the reader can choose a theme such as Museums, Sports, or Great Outdoors, flip to the page and discover a plethora of experiences waiting for them to show up. This collection is invaluable to the Atlanta Hometown audience or the traveling tourist looking for downhome experiences in the area. Families, this book will save you hours of research and provide at least a hundred fun things to do that won’t break the bank. Personally, my favorite section is all of the free swimming and spraygrounds! I did not know there were so many places, to cool off, right around the corner. Read more detailed info about Sue’s book, here.
100+ Free Things to do in Atlanta is available in ebook formats such as Kindle, Nook, iPad and iPhone for $4.99. Printed books are available for $9.99. Visit Field Trips with Sue to purchase your book today!

Yellow river game ranch!!!!
Wooohoo!
We love hitting Stone Mountain! Of course, lazy days at the pool are a must, too!
Now that I am a RETIRED teacher….I have time to explore…..thanks…
You’re welcome, Vicki! Exploring is learning!
I was just thinking about how we need to make another trip to ATL! We live in Nashville, but Atlanta has so much fun to offer — and not being too far of a drive helps, too! Favorite summer tradition? Probably visiting local museums, etc, that we don’t get to see much during the school year! #typeaparent
Our favorite summer activity is going to lake Allatoona’s beaches!
We enjoy the sprinkler every summer!
Our family’s favorite summer tradition is spending time at the pool with grandma.
I have to get my hands on this book. It looks like it has so many things to do in it.
