March Reflections & Explorers Log

Warming up… March 2015 Reflections and Explorers Log

March Reflections & Explorers Log

Hi y’all! I’m treating myself and my friends to monthly reflections, this year. These are meant to help me keep track and make sense of things. I am one of those creative types that flourish in clutter and chaos. I’m also the first to admit that my way is no way to keep any sort of order.

Our February Reflection is courtesy of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.
“If you spend too much time warming up, you’ll miss the race. If you don’t warm up at all, you may not finish the race.” – Grand Heidrich

With the spring warm up well underway, we added some quick stretches to the beginning of our hikes. It’s not the only change to our regular routines. My responsibilities of school work, tending to household chores, and the boys’ needs pile up quick. It’s a romantic idea to think that we can make time for a partner. The reality is that, “making time,” isn’t currently possible. We don’t make time. The next best thing is paying better attention to time management because how we spend our time is what makes us.
