Sweetwater Creek State Park in Springtime

Sweetwater in Springtime

I paid all my bills, last night. I know, super exciting. It’s actually a big deal for me, because when I get stressed out paying my bills is one of the first things I stop doing. It’s a horrible involuntary reflex to stress that really only creates more stress when there’s nobody to back me up. I’ve put the really important ones on automatic billpay to avoid credit issues. So, there’s that at least.

I’ve hit the trails two days in a row, which proves that the south is warming up quickly. Yesterday, I took my out-of-shape garfielding self to ride a couple rounds of the new and improved Rusty Bucket Trail at Allatoona Creek Mountain Bike Park. Today, I hiked the Red & White trails of Sweetwater Creek State Park with an old school buddy… somebody I’ve followed on facebook for a few years but haven’t seen in nearly 20. He’s not a regular hiker, so I have to hand it to him for toughing out at least 3 miles, including some of the most strenuous sections of trail in the park. I hope I didn’t ruin hiking for him 🙂 It was really great, especially because he’s been visiting the park since he was a kid, same as me, but hadn’t ventured as far as we went today. Here are some photos of Sweetwater in springtime.
