Full Moon Fun in Georgia State Parks, Tennessee & Florida

[section_title title=Full Moon Fun in GA State Parks]
Full Moon Fun Hikes & Paddles in Georgia, Tennessee & FloridaI love spending some time outside in the glow of the full moon. Fortunately, Georgia State Parks & State Parks in Tennessee & Florida, have catered to those of us who like to get out and enjoy nature at night with full moon hikes, paddles & even horseback rides.

Of course, my homestate of Georgia seems to be totally dedicated to getting folks out for a little night time fun & has scheduled the most full moon events in the Southeast region. In fact, I could only find one Full Moon Night Hike scheduled for June 13, by Tennessee State Parks at Long Hunter State Park. Find more info on that hike, here. If you’re going to be in Florida on June 12, July 12 or August 10 check out the scheduled Full Moon Beach Strolls. I could find no information for Full Moon events scheduled in Alabama or South Carolina state parks.

Now, moving on to the leader in Full Moon Fun, Georgia State Parks!! Please note that you should visit the links to find out more information about costs, times & registration for the events. All of the events require pre-registration.

  1. I believe my family is going to have our reunion at a State Park near Memphis, TN. I can’t wait to go and have fun in the outdoors! Thanks for this list!

  2. Oh wow! These sound like some great events that my family and I will have to check out. We haven’t done anything like this before. It would give us the chance to try something new.
